Breathe in, Breathe out

Whether or not the sun comes out tomorrow,
I know that it’ll still be there.
Though the night may be swelled with sorrow,
The joy comes with the morning glare.

Breathe in, breathe out; slow and steady,
Allow the spirals dawdle and clam down before you.
The week ahead may be forecasted cloudy,
Yet the sky in your heart is swept clean—brand new.

Effortlessly I can blatantly say: take me and mould me,
I’m ready for the expected suffering,
But is my everything willingly given to Thee,
Or just a small portion of my dutiful offering?

The forceful breeze brushes pass my face,
As I bite the bullet with unspoken fear.
I speed up and I slow down in the race,
Always knowing that the end is near.

So dwell not in the groans and irks,
Oh tired soul of mine.
Release smiles, or at least little smirks,
And care-freely flutter in His love, so divine.

For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalm 30:5

To all of you who are taking a break from your studies…. GET BACK TO WORK! (and stop going to your facebook site)

Heheh… alright alright… everyone needs a break sometimes.

May all of you (that includes me) stay sane under the pile of work/ assignments/ textbooks/ notes/ pressure. Don’t forget to breathe in, and breathe out.
