pardon my absence

I know... it’s been awhile. Even someone who does not blog demands an update from me. Well, life for me has been so happening till I’ve no time to blog. So pardon me of my blog-absence.

No, it’s not friggin hot anymore. And I’ve finished “flowers for Algernon” super long ago. And I’ve watched tons of movies after Simpsons the Movie.

It’s been great living out with friends, walking to uni, and having a paid job. Since my last post, I did so many things I can’t really remember them all but here’s my blunt attempt.

Exploring life

I ran around Adelaide city with these guys and won the race! We had dim sum with the winnings, nyeheheh…

!Hero

The ! is not a click sound u make with ur tongue. It’s just how the title is created. This easter production from my church was fantastic! I went for it 2 nites in a row. It was the easter story done in modern rock version.

Beach

I knew them beach days would be gone for a looong time when summer ends so we went as often as we could. Those who were there: me, mandy, duane, sam, ruby, ming, huey chi, tan, celestine, amanda, and sundeep (not sure how to spell his name…).This was Brighton Beach where I lost a bag of clothes and a gift =( long story…

Meat the Musical @ the Fringe

My 1st Fringe experince. Went out with the girls and it was quite cool. The show was super arty. Filled with satirical humour, blood, raw meat, chips and cigarette butts thrown at audiences…

OCF beach outing

Captain ball, huge umbrella, volley ball, Frisbee, drizzle, BBQ pit, food, drinks, great fellowship, ‘I never’ game, toilet crisis…

Jack Johnson’s concert

Free tix to Jack Johnson!!!! Huey chi, ming, mandy and I almost fell asleep after the 1st 4 songs. Cant believe we sat through the whole thing. hahaha, I mean… his songs r cool, I like them. During chill out sessions, yes. But that was a concert. So it was a super chilled-out concert.

Double group presentations

Had a back to back group presentation and it wasn’t easy doing it at one go. Uni was almost my second home for that week.

Erwinology

The sabo plan began when Erwin started baking his 7layered cake (which was supposed to be done with a vacuum cleaner and other weird house equipments). We cling wrapped him to a chair, blind folded him and shaved his leg hair. both legs.

Crabbing @ Semaphore jetty

Went crabbing with Celestine, tan, Amanda, huey chi and ming. I stayed till 3 but did not catch anything. Celestine, tan and Amanda soon caught 2 with tan’s dad’s commercial crab net. We played uno on the jetty. Freezing cold man…

Too Much Basil

Had a meeting/dinner with my beloved mission mates. We ended up eating crab at Ken's neighbours house and then our self-made pizza with too much basil. Things are getting exciting with the planning for this mission.

Ecamp

This shall be one whole post on its own. Stay tuned.

hot hot hotttttt

we're all getting heat strokes. if this heat wave continues... we're all gonna be baked alive!

it's been so so so hot over here. people fainting. bush burning. animals going crazy...

i spilled water on the kitchen floor, so i went to grab a cloth to wipe it down, and when i turned back, the puddle of water was gone! it was amazing!

it's reported in the news paper that we're hotter than the desert already. ho ho ho. this is crazy! 41degrees and i still have to walk to uni. no wonder my skin keeps peeling...

God, pls send some rain or cool breeze. pretty please...

“I hate goodbye’s” Qian once told me. But if u don’t have goodbyes then there won’t be warm ‘hello! I missed u so much’s after that. Another home-coming holiday has come and gone again. So many things were done, and not done. So many memorable moments and plenty of new experiences that I’ll treasure. I think this would be my last few holidays I’ll have cuz when I graduate, there won’t be anymore 3-month holidays for me to slack away into lala land.

I would like to thank dad for buying airplane tickets for me to get home, and (finally) setting up an air-con in my room. I didn’t sleep for the 1st few nights since I got back… was bitten alive by mozzies. Quote daiyee and uncle Jason “air-con in msia is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity”. Hehe… Thanks dad!

Mom also flooded me with heaps of things, from vacuum cleaner to an internship in Challenges magazine. She also showered me with her nags. But I think I kinda missed it when I was away from home.

Charmaine gave me good night kisses every nite without fail. She also made me famous—at mandy and duane’s wedding high tea, so many ppl came up to me and said “oh! So u’re charmaine’s sister. I’ve heard a lot about u”. freaky~

A shout out to my dear high skool friends who welcomed me back and showed me that the friendship we have is still alive: jiin dong, chien boon, yu xian, heidi, chee meng, ju lien, pei li, chor mun, sook mun, pei yun, lai sin, qiu yan, wen tu, yuk pui, wei jun, yung chuen (thx for the pc), gadiy and the rest of my prefect juniors, Kelly and my St. John’s juniors.

Pangkor island was so much nicer with shua, horny, kit jing, and tim. Thanks guys for making that get-away so enjoyable. Thanks horny for planning all this. I’m glad I got to know Kit Jing more. Thank u shua for understanding how it is to be home after being away for so long. Thanks tim for the smiles.

And also, my awesome childhood friends: pei yi, pei wern (thx for the pencil case), Sandra, karl, keith, timone, alex and riana. Long live our mamak times up the hill!

My cousins: jeh jeh, goh goh, 3za, Justine, ah boy, mandy chan. We’ll never get to sit still at the dinner table and eat without acting weird and driving the adults crazy. Keh Leh Fehrs rock!!! And for the other side… Audrey n Joshua, faster come to Adelaide!!

Those Adelaidians, great to see u back here. I had a superb time in ipoh. Those involved: esther G, suling, qian, Erwin, ah bock, michelle, Ashley, mindy, mindy’s parents and Samson.

Thanks for meeting with me, alwyn, tekki, mabel, ben teng, and dikos (for keeping me company).

Brats. What can I say… u guys make boring events so freakin happening! Glad I met u guys this holidays and lets hope we get to catch the rest who didn’t make it to our next reunion. Delwyn, Avril, Doraemon, A man duh, Cheesecake, Logee, Pretty boy, Arthur, Pui yee, Reuben, Jackson, Jeanette. Btw, we talked about u, miux, kitsze, alvo, kelene, etc.

Another Brat who made his way to my heart deserves a huge THANK YOU from me—my dearest Timo supremo! Hahhaha… even though u almost broke my rib bone and converted me by force into a Liverpool fan, u still deserve all the credit for making my holidays so wonderful. Why do I say so? Well, because he was my personal driver, dispatch boy, technician, portable bin for unfinished food, my only audience for my horrendous singing, and my bf. Good deal huh? Heheh… he also trusted me with his life when he let me drive his car to midvalley, only finding ourselves there really late ‘cuz I took a wrong turning and went all the way down town. He waited with me and for me at the dentist, and wrote me a song (haha… I’m serious! I got an engineer to do that for me =p ). I’ll always remember our super random valentines day, our ‘arguments’ on my eccentricity (and urs), the times when u drive me home, the weird things that happen when we’re together, and number 3s!!!

Well, if it weren’t for u all, my holidays would not have been the way it was. Thank u so much and I’m looking forward to the next time we’ll meet again.

Lots of love,

Jez

daughter's chair

Holidays have been great. I love holidays. Some things make u or break u. but I feel the holidays kept me stagnant. Which isn’t a good sign.

However, I did grow in some sense. Of course I have to. With all the exciting things I get to do while I don’t have to attend class everyday. Not saying I only learn outside of the classroom. Literal learning is put at hold and I’ve to sensitize my observations to a higher level for learning.

Every morning, now that I’m home, I try to help out with the house work. It disappoints me when I find out that they think I don’t do enuf at home. I am trying… really… yet I’m not the perfect daughter still…

If I can, I’d hang the clothes, sweep the floor, make their beds, fold the clothes; all done willingly. Even big decisions are made based on their expectations. I’m sitting on the daughter’s chair without complaints. Even with a smile on my face, I sit.

Gonna be 21 this year. Gonna get the golden key thingy. Wonder how that wud make a difference in the way I’m gonna b on this chair. Wonder if its time I move into the rebellious stage of breaking the silence and pouring in awkwardness into our conversations. Or I could sit on the floor, legs crossed, and know that I’ll be accepted for how my thoughts are expressed.

Or it might be great to just continue to flexibly smile on the seat of high expectations. Since I’m compliant, and since I’ve been doing it all my life. That’s not that hard. Dreaming big is not a problem with my acute imagination. Daring to get up and do it is a whole new energy. What if my big dream is to be ordinary? Would that still be considered big? Would that even be called a dream? Am I allowed to be mediocre?

Anyhow, I know it’s all good. Those hopes are of noble intentions. I’m grateful to have this chair to sit on. Just that… sometimes I don’t wanna follow the intended scripts. I wanna find the real character, sitting on the floor, legs crossed.

Chinese or not, here's to u

This…is the year of the rat…

I find all these Chinese myths really interesting… did u know that on the 7th day of CNY, it’s “yan yat”. Which means humans’ day in Cantonese. That’s the day everyone celebrates their birthdays. So cool. Its like… hey bro, happy birthday! Then u can say ‘right back at ya’ to anyone who wishes u that. That’s not a common thing to do (saying ‘same to u’ for a bday wish… well, I only get to do that with heidi).

And all the things u can’t do on the 1st day of CNY… hahaha, its so… comical. U can’t wash ur hair on the 1st day. Cuz hair ie “tao fatt” has the word “fatt” in it. So if u wash it, all ur “fatt”—which means prosperity, will b washed away.

And and, u can’t sweep the floor on the 1st day of CNY. Cuz u mite sweep away the good luck that Mr. Choy (god of wealth) has brought. I think that’s the story behind it. Correct me if I’m wrong.

And and, u have to keep all sharp objects (knives, scissors, nail clippers) away. Jz in case u cut the good stuff away. (but erm, I didn’t keep my swiss knife away… cuz its tied to my keys… but its closed up so I guess that ok =p) And the brooms must b kept too. There r more things to be done, or not done on CNY and I’m yet to learn more from my grandparents, uncles and aunties. Those wud b really good balderdashing moments if they’d tell me the traditions without the meaning behind it 1st, heheh…

See… it’s really interesting to be a Chinese. Being a Chinese for 20 years (well, I’ll b 21 in a few days time on humans’ day, nyehehe) have been great as I learn about these traditions yearly. There’s always something new every year. But one thing is for sure, that even or not I’m a Chinese, all good things will happen to me, and to those who love God.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. {fatt: yah fatt}

And yes, it’s been good and always will be.

This year’s CNY is rather boring compared to the years when I was young, and when firecrackers were not yet banned in msia. We wud blow up macro’s carpark opposite my grandma’s old house. And also shoot fireworks into the big longkang and watch cockroaches and rats scurry out of it at the other end. We would go as 4 families plus grandma to relatives’ houses. Even to those who we don’t really know how we’re related. Breakfast lunch and dinner does not apply to our body clocks for at least 3 days as we just feast on prawn crackers, sour plum, love letters, beehive biscuits, kuah chi, packet drink etc. Those were the good old days when we kids had to ‘work’ for our ang pows.

This year… I watched CJ7 at 1am with my cousins and her friend at midvalley, only reaching home at 3.30am. I spent half of 2nd and 3rd day of CNY doing nothing at home. I was the only one laughing at my exploded chestnut in the microwave (my parents didn’t find it funny… but it was!). I played PS2 with sis after walking around the new Tesco which took over macro opposite mama’s old house. I found out at my great great great grandfather is a Soo. So anyone I know whose sir name is Soo, we may be related. I’m blogging on the 3rd day!!! Man… I think I shud go do something related to CNY.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to you!

scientology (how u spell it?)

I had a really funny msn conversation with a friend lately. He wanted to join scientology cuz john trovolta believes in it and cuz it has a chun story behind it.

This was wat I was told.

I ended up roflmao

{+3kk!} - says:

jez lets join scientology

jez says:

hahah

jez says:

y?

{+3kk!} - says:

or how the hell you spell it

{+3kk!} - says:

cause john travolta believes in it

jez says:

hahahha

jez says:

and the short guy

{+3kk!} - says:

and it has a sublime backstory that beats the bible

{+3kk!} - says:

hahaha

jez says:

tom cruise

{+3kk!} - says:

yup

jez says:

nothing beats the bible man

jez says:

bible rox my world

jez says:

actually wats behind scientology?

jez says:

like... it jz believes in evolution?

{+3kk!} - says:

hahhaaha, let me tell you

once upon a time there was an evil alien ruler called xenu

he had a problem with over population with his planets

so he did some evil things and well made those population come for some *insert comical pun here* survey

and he injected them with things that paralysed them

he then loaded all of them into space planes, like our planes just that it has some uber cool engines tht can travel X lightyears in Y weeks

and put all these people at the foot of some volcanos in hawaii

and inserted nukes into the volcanos

and

BOOM

all died

jez says:

so...

when do i fit in to the picture?

{+3kk!} says:

he then collected their souls with something funny, and brought them to IMAX 3D and made them watch movies! which later brainwashed them

jez says:

hahhahahah

{+3kk!} - says:

with the other things that what religon we know today like weed, britney spears and MCR, these souls later do something and linked to the living beings at that era which are the cave men

{+3kk!} - says:

and they are all in us, scientology (how you spell it) is here to take it away and let us achieve divine capabilities

{+3kk!} - =P says:

man how can the bible beat this, its liek the best story ever

jez says:

when do i come in the pic?!

{+3kk!} - says:

erm...........*acts like blur religon preacher*.......you are the cave men, as in the souls cling to you

they made a religon back story sooo sublime it can fit into an msn chat box

jez says:

hahhaha

so u're up for it?

i need u to b my scapegoat

y not u join 1st

n tell me how good it is

{+3kk!} - says:

its damn cool tom cruise is in it

jez says:

hahha

{+3kk!} - says:

and come on, how can you not believe XENU

jez says:

and john trovolta

{+3kk!} - says:

yayayya

but anyway lets stick to loving this funny religon

jez says:

hhahaha

jez says:

u’re the one loving it

jez says:

its jz humouring me

{+3kk!} - says:

hahahaha, i love it cause its funny

jez says:

hahha

{+3kk!} - says:

i mean come on, ok all religons tell about some omnipotent being which i cant bring to believe. and this is like far worse

jet planes like ours but with super engines?!?!?!? its really in the back story

jez says:

hey

jez says:

can i retell ur scientology story?

{+3kk!} - says:

hahaha

jez says:

need copyright rights

{+3kk!} - says:

feel free lar, its not mine anyway

i picked it out from the internet and south park

but it IS the backstory

jez says:

serious?

jez says:

so its not ur idea?

{+3kk!} - says:

you thought it was mine? its their idea seriously, as in it IS the back story

{+3kk!} - says:

if you go google it this comes up

{+3kk!} - says:

hahahaha

jez says:

hahaha

jez says:

ok

{+3kk!} - says:

all the jet engines, the cinemas are all in the story

same with the dark lord xenu of course

he was imprisioned into some mountain

jez says:

hahahaha

jez says:

man...

I still cant believe this la. Brainwash them n now we’re cavemen? This mite b an idea for another “Team America” movie.

The sense of self

I think the most important thing as a constantly maturing person, one must be able to have a strong sense of self in order to know how to react to the pressures from given by other ppl.

I was was, and still am, a daughter, a student, a friend, a leader, a follower, someone who loves and being loved. And all these while, all my actions and plans are according to what others expect of me. These expectations swell up and become discreet pressures. Very soon, I kinda lost the sense of knowing who I really am. ‘This is who we want u to become and it’s all for ur own good’. (sounds like a line from the move ‘I not stupid’ rite?) Though it’s not literally said but I can feel it. So I work towards it n hopefully see the pleased looks on their faces. Those are the looks that I yearn for and identify them as my success… not what I actually achieved. Sad but true.

So now that I know I’m prone to this disease, I shud grow up and stop solely pleasing man, but to please God who has already planned out the best things for me. He will reveal them bit by bit with a little bit of suspense here and there.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Ming once told me that our weakness is just our strength out of control. So if I control this people-pleasing attitude and use it as my strength, I’ll be able to escape this trap when people start labeling me as the Jezamine they want me to be.

I’ll be able to do it. With His help, I’ll get thru this.

Just watch.

not fun

Being Jez at this point of time is no fun. I’m always missing something. No matter where I am, I’m missing someone, some situation, some country. When I’m back here in Malaysia, I’m missing Adelaide and vice versa. It’s no fun.

I remember Jia Wei once told me when she was in Germany, that we can never have everything. That’s been with me for a long time now. And I’m still not accepting that line. Why can’t I jz enjoy what I have rite now and not pine for what I can’t have rite now. But that’s reality I guess.

And the thing that makes it worst is that the time for me to decide where I’m gonna b when I graduate is so freakin near. Sometimes I feel like this.

if I had afro,

I’d feel like this.

Escaping seems to be a natural reaction for me now.

So many times I’ve fallen into the deepest pits of this feeling, but every time I’ll be picked up by the hands of the One who has all the good stuff planned for me. I can’t wait till the time I get to look back and say, hey… those were good hair-pulling years.

tersumbat

Aarrrggghhhh!!!!!!

One word to describe how I’m feeling now—constipated.

Don’t worry. I’m healthy. Eating well, digesting well, and disposing well. Just that… I cant sing properly now. Since the soar throat experience a few weeks ago, I never had the chance to sing. And that’s baaaaadddddd…… can’t enjoy myself in the shower, when I’m home alone, when I hear a darn-good-to-sing-along song on the radio etc.

Though I sound kinda sexy, I have to admit =p but, I want my old voice back. I wanna sing… I need to sing.

Yeap, that’s the word. Constipated.

real

Sometimes don’t u just wish u can have the power to know what someone else is thinking?

But r u really ready to know the real thoughts?

I sank deep in his thoughts, in the profound end of his head.

It was authentic. It was abstract. It was ready to be felt. It was pure joy.

I listened, I saw it in my own head, I felt it.

It was real. It IS real.

eeee pohhhh

It’s great to have friends all around Malaysia. They so rock!
I shall dedicate this post to a very dear friend of mine who rocks—Mindy Oon.

6 of us packed our bags and left KL on a Monday afternoon, and took the 2 ½-hour bus ride to Ipoh, Perak. Esther G, Suling T, Erwin L, Qian C, Bock A, and me

. Esther and I talked our way there, and we all found ourselves in the little hot town-of-the-famous-foods.

Saw mindy, who didn’t change much since the last time I saw her, and met her friends who helped ferry us back to her house. Aunty was super hospitable from the moment we arrived. It was like that till we left. Man… Mindy’s mom is so cool…

And so, our eating plans started. We had jambu, keropok, authentic ipoh white coffee, super grand Chinese dinner at a Chinese restaurant, ipoh hor fun, rojak, popiah, lobak, ice kacang, sotong kangkung, ngau lam fun, curry noodles, tiramisu… we brought back seaweed biscuits, pineapple tarts, pomelos, and chicken biscuits! All complimentary from aunty mandy. Told u she’s so cool. Mindy’s parents r like the Tai Goh and the Tai Gah Cheh of Ipoh. They had ‘connections’ with almost everyone! They can get wat they want with just one phone call, hahaha… glamour wey…

Apparently, all the ‘world famous’ shops weren’t open. So we had to settle for 2nd best. I didn’t think they were 2nd best. I liked what I ate, heheh… aunty said it was cuz they could smell Aussie air coming, so they close shops. So not true…

(Clockwise: Qian, Suling, Erwin, Adrian, Esther, Me, Mindy, Michelle)

It was great 3 days spent with these awesome ppl. Met another awesome girl called michelle who brought us around too. We
also had fun playing with Mindy’s new game “Mad Gap”. I also got to meet up with Ashley! Whom I’ve not seen in years! And having a saucy girl-talk till 4am with Suling, Esther and Mindy. Not forgetting playing with Samson in the morning. Heheh… he’s so cute. He fell in love with esther. Nothing else can pull him away from her. Oh ya, did I mention that he’s a dog? Hahah… his full name is Samson Oon Fui Kiu (fui kiu = fat dog in hokkien, or was it hakka?). He has a friendster page wey… don’t play play.

We also helped out in a Methodist church’s soup kitchen activity. I’ve never done this b4 and it was really new to me. We helped pack food and a bottle of water into a bag, take them to the market, and distribute them to the homeless/ less fortunate. It broke my heart when I saw a family of 4 coming to us, when we only had 1 last pack left. These people need proper shelter, good hygiene and sanitary facilities, medical help, and love. I could see it in their eyes, that they wanted real love. And I know for sure that God loves them, just that they don’t know it as much as I do. I’m glad that the church is doing something for them. They started off with giving out 12 packs a week. Now they’re distributing more than 100 packs. Though it was drizzling when we were at the market, there was an eager line behind the van, hungrily waiting for their best meal of the week.

On Wednesday, we planned to go caving at Gua Tempurung b4 heading back to KL. I was super excited about it but decided to pull out cuz of my really really bad cough. I quarantined myself the night b4 cuz I was coughing badly in an air-conditioned room with 4 other girls. Getting them sick would be the last thing I wanna do. Those who went caving said it was awesome. Man… jealous-nya aku… oh well, the cave will always be there for me to discover another time.

So since I’m missing out on that, Mindy took ah bock and I to Kellie’s Castle, and to Kampar. That was a good replacement, heheh… we had fun climbing to the top of the castle and wandering in the ancient building.

Though I’ve been to Ipoh a few times (my family always make pit stops in ipoh b4 going up to Camerons), but this trip was one of the greatest.

old ipoh town
never ending arches.
we tied esther up
we played with mindy's favourite thing in shopping complexes.
the fountain that we passed by heaps of times.
this is Rocky. Joel (Mindy's bro)'s pet turtle, residing in their bathtub.

welcome back jez!

So let’s get this straight. Is it true that my neighbourhood loves me so much that they always hv major renovations every time I come back from somewhere? The family from the house directly opposite renovated their whole porch when I came back for term break from Inti Nilai. The Chinese neighbour renovated the house when I came back after I finished SAM. Encik Rashid, next door renovated his whole house when I came home from Australia after my 1st year. Now someone else is fixing something major in their house near by. Just great. My neighbourhood has their theme “welcome back” song for me.

Anyhoot, its good to be back. I ate, talked, sang, and laughed till I kinda lost my voice. Now my mom also lost her voice. She either thinks this is a trend or its because she kept asking me to shut up till she lost hers too, nyahahah….

I lost count of the things I missed which I now can see, touch and feel. They no longer have to just be in my head. It’s happening! The people I’m laughing at actually talks back! Hahah…

1st thing I planned to do when I touch home ground—hug my family till they can’t breathe. Haha, but it turned out the other way round. Charmaine didn’t grow taller but she lets me kiss her now, hahah..

Then it was straight to mamak’s! Though my teh-o-ice limau was extremely sweet, I drank every drop of it. Then came crazy unpacking-day and get-essentials day. I came back with hardly any clothes, but mom handed me 3 big bags filled with clothes my size. They were from some rich friend who wanted a new cupboard. Hahahah… mom’s rich friend’s daughter rox. My bigger family also waited for me to get back to open up Christmas presents. Though the gifts weren’t that great, but my big family rox! i painted my nails with super colourful colours with Theresa. it's so bright...

Someone else rox too. Timmy boy!!! Ok, I shud call him Timmy man now. Someone’s getting old. Eheheh… I planned a surprise thing for him on his birthday with his friends, just to remind him he’s getting old now, hahah… we’ll have another full-day-date another time k?

I can expect this new year to be very different (goes the same with every other year since I graduated from primary school). Spent new year’s eve differently. Went for shua’s party on new year’s day. Of all things… it was a BBQ party. And I thought I cud have a break from BBQ when I leave Australia. But this one was different. They had no skewers! Hahah… it was fun. Almost started a band called the No-Skewers. Met some high skool juniors there.

Next day, more juniors!! Haha… this time it’s the st. john’s ambulance gang. Went for my 1st karaoke session in 2008 (yes, I expect more to come). Watched my 1st movie in 2008 with Tim (and I expect more to come =p).

Then came Thai food with my awesome friends, karaoke with my double awesome high skool friends, and a serious lame joke session with my cousins and uncles. I love holidays.

Just got back from ipoh ydy and going pangkor tmr. And guess wat… my only day at home this week and they’re tarring the road in front of my house! See… I told u, my neighbourhood loves me.

we wish u a cherry Christmas

When u put a few ppl who has cars and has the idea of having a cherry Christmas, what will u get?

U’ll get 45kgs of cherries!!!!! Worth AUD200!

Hahah, it’s a long story. Lazy to tell all, but it was great fun, picking cherries while eating them along the way and having spitting competition to see who can spit furthest. Esther n I can only scoff out the seeds and watch it land a few centimeters away from our feet.

The other funny part was, when we found out that we have to buy what we picked, we asked the workers if they’ve seen ppl like us doing this b4. They said yes but never this bad. Hahah…. Classic experience. Laughed our way back from Loberthal. There was a black guy who worked there. He wore a santa’s hat. No wonder he was smirking when he saw us going to get more buckets for picking… ish…

Any ways… CHERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

blogging on air

Alrite, I’m on the plane now, waiting for the movie option to start functioning. This is cool. Got a seat rite at the back. Making friends with air stewardess and talking to the girl in front of me. We were sitting side by side jz now but they split us up cuz there was a couple who wanted to sit together. But all is good. They’re nice ppl. The guy next to me is from UK. He’s speaking with Irish accent. Heheh… ok! Movie starting!

Just finished Stardust. Yes, sha, it’s a good one. Just that…. Y didn’t she shine way earlier? Aduh… anyways. Good show. I’ll watch some comedies and maybe sleep.

The girl I met earier keeps turning back to see if I’m ok. Hahaha, she’s so cute. She’s 13 and she’s huge! She reminds me of Aleida. Just that this one says she’s not talkative but talks a lot and has straight hair. She’s going to England for a month or so, alone! So cool. The crew takes care of her and makes sure she gets there in one piece. The air stewardess gave both of us business packs from the flight.

that's her... checking me out...

that's her again! asking me what i'm doing...

My entertainment system got stuck. Remember I’ve this jinxed experience with technology? Yeap, it’s happening again. So I can’t watch any movies now… it’s stuck. The air stewardess had to reset my seat’s system. And it’s still not working yet. *sulk* guess I’ll b typing and sleeping and talking with Laura (I think that was her name… =p).

Sitting near the toilet made me realize something. Some ppl actually forget to lock the toilet door when using it! Man…

Airplane food is not that good la… its jz filling, and shuts u up for awhile.
